Not when it's fitted properly. Good film sits flat on the glass with clean, neat edges, and frosted film looks like etched glass. It can look a little hazy for the first few weeks while it dries. That's normal and it clears.
With solar, UV and safety film, yes. Frosted film blocks the view both ways, which is the point in a bathroom. Mirrored films only give privacy in daylight: at night, with your lights on, people can see in.
Not if the right film goes on the right glass. Some films can put stress on certain double-glazed units, so I check the glass type first and match the film to it. If a window isn't suitable, I'll tell you.
Good film fitted on the inside of the glass lasts for years. It depends on the film and how much sun the window gets. Your quote shows the expected life and warranty for each option.
Most jobs are done in one visit. A bathroom window or front door is quick. Bigger jobs like a conservatory roof take longer. You'll get a time estimate with your quote.
Usually yes, as most film goes on the inside of the glass. That's why I fit evenings and weekends, so you don't need time off work.
